When deciding to build our new hospital, we asked ourselves what would be most important to the local community and how we could make a positive contribution through our health care. With a long-term goal of supporting the local community, we decided to establish our emergency department.
We intend to make three major contributions to the local community:
First, we will help the community through protecting the reproductive-age population.
As one of the leading causes of death among young people, traffic accidents require immediate medical attention and we implement every life-saving technique possible to help our patients return to everyday life without any serious functional disorders.
Second, we established a hands-on learning center to support and increase local health awareness and education.
Third, we acquired medical accreditation for the treatment of international patients to provide medical services to international residents living in Kagoshima and tourists as well as to promote economic activity.
In the future, we will continue to contribute to the local community through improvements in our healthcare.
