Guide for Foreign-national Patients Wishing to Visit Our Hospital
〈Flow of Visit〉
〈Interpretation and Translation Services〉
An interpreter is available at our hospital on weekdays from 8:30am to 5:30pm. When unavailable or when the support language is one other than English, an interpretation tablet will be used.
Our interpretation services (interpreter, online medical interpreter, machine interpretation) are free. However, we do not accept any responsibility for misinterpretation or mistranslation when using these services.
〈Translated Documents〉
The Japanese version of any translated documents or consent forms prepared by our hospital is the governing version.
We are able to prepare English versions of Medical Certificates on request, but it may take a number of days. (Issuance fee: ¥5,500)
〈What to Bring When Visiting〉
【Those Enrolled in Japanese Health Insurance】（Example: foreign nationals staying in Japan long-term (3 months or more) for purposes such as study abroad or employment and enrolled Japan's health insurance system)
- MyNumber Card (My# Insurance Card) or Health Insurance Eligibility Certificate
- Residence Card
- Medication booklet
- Referral letter, other referral documents prepared by a different hospital, etc. (those who have it)

- Passport

〈Processing of Personal Information〉
In accordance with the policy outlined below, our hospital asks to confirm and make copies of residence cards and passports.

Those Using an Expressway
About 15 min. drive from the Kagoshima IC on the Kyushu Expressway in the direction of Yojiro.
Those Using a Conventional or Bullet Train
Get off at "Kagoshima Chuo Station." Exit the station from the East Exit (Sakurajima side). The hospital is approximately 10 minutes away via taxi.
Those Using a Bus
From Kagoshima Chuo Station
- Kagoshima City Bus
Get off at the "Yojiro 1-chome" bus stop. The hospital is about a minute walk away. - Kagoshima Transportation Bus
Get off at the "Kyogetsutei/Yonemori Hospital" bus stop. The hospital is about a minute walk away.
